I’m quite proud of these little pants. They used to (believe it or not) be my (magenta) linen pants. But I really couldn’t pull off that color. So they became Bea’s linen Big Butt Baby capris.
I just cut the pants open at the inseam, preserving the the existing drawstring closure at the bottom. I was a little afraid the ties might be a nuisance or a danger, but we haven’t had a problem with them.
May I say again how much I love this pattern? (I know I’m not alone.) My only regret is that I don’t have time to sew a dozen more.
Here, have this lovely piece of bark.
A two-for-one shot: big-butt pants and a mama-made skirt.

Super cute, and so inventive! The look like you bought them at a fancy baby boutique!
Those are super cute.
Cute! Cute! Cute! Well done!
